Tom Hanks struck a rare pose alongside his son Chet that was shared on the actor and musician’s Instagram page.
The 33-year-old, who is the Castaway star’s third child, and first born with wife Rita Wilson, simply captioned captioned the post, ‘Gang.’
The Oscar-winning father was bundled up for the cold winter weather in a dark hooded coat and a dark green beanie cap over his short dark hair.
For his part, the younger Hanks went with a similar dark hooded coat and a Los Angeles Dodgers baseball cap over his closely cropped head, and a full beard and mustache.

Both the father and the son gave off slight smiles for the camera, as the Forrest Gump actor sat just a couple feet behind him.
The photo appears to be the first time Tom Hanks has appeared on his son’s Instagram feed.
Just this past May, the Empire actor shared some love for his mom, Rita Wilson.
‘The biggest G I know @ritawilson love you mom,’ Chet wrote next to a photo of him and mother rocking sunglasses while they wrap their arms around each other.
After enduring some troubled times as a youth, Chet ended up still following in his parents’ footsteps into the world of acting and music.
However, the Project X actor previously shared that his upbringing with two famous parents was a ‘double edged sword.’
Early in his acting career Chet starred as Dexter in the 2007 film Bratz.
Soon after, his acting career picked up with a string of small film roles in the early 2010s.

One of his main roles from 2016-2018 was playing Charlie, the father of character Sierra Morton’s child, on the American version of Shameless on Showtime.
He also played rapper Blake on musical drama Empire and the courtroom miniseries drama Your Honor.
Rita and Tom, who were married in 1988, are also the proud parents of son Truman, 28.
The longtime Hollywood leading man is also the father of son Colin, 45, and daughter Elizabeth, 41, whom he welcomed with his first wife, Samantha Lewes.
