It is understood that Ms Green’s tattooed boyfriend Jeremy Meeks had stayed there on his visits to London – and that is a key reason for the sale. According to the advert, Meeks will have enjoyed ‘2,485 square feet of luxury living space’, onyx marble bathrooms and a first floor ‘entirely dedicated to entertaining’.

The apartment, which takes up the building’s first and second floors, has frequently appeared as a backdrop in Ms Green’s Instagram posts and interior shots can be seen on a property website.

One shows the name Chloe spelled out in lettered mugs on a mantelpiece.

Not that the sale will leave Chloe homeless. It seems likely that she will move into a nearby property, which was once the childhood home of model Cara Delevingne.

Eaton Place, which forms part of the exclusive Grosvenor Estate, is one of the most sought-after addresses in London – residents include actress Dame Joan Collins.

The 1970s TV show Upstairs Downstairs, featuring its fictional inhabitants Lord and Lady Bellamy and their servants, was set at 165 Eaton Place. Exterior shots were filmed at number 65, with a ‘1’ painted on.
