Transgender Lottery winner reveals her dramatic new look

Transgender lottery winner Melissa Ede has revealed a dramatic new look after splashing out thousands of pounds on treatments to reshape her face.

The former reality TV personality, 57, from Hull, showed off the results of the procedure to lift sagging skin around her jawbone.

Miss Ede, a taxi driver, won £4million with a £10 National Lottery Blue Scratchcard in December last year, days after her partner Rachel Nason asked her to marry her with a Christmas proposal.

She has already spent some £3,000 of her prize money on Botox, cheek fillers, lip fillers, and fillers under her eyes to remove dark circles, the Hull Daily Mail reported.

She said she wanted to look ‘fresher, younger and more feminine’.

Commenting on the non-surgical chin lift, Miss Ede said: ‘I had jowl around my chin area. There’s a big difference. It’s completely lifted it.

Miss Nason said the laser procedure made a ‘massive difference’ and joked her partner’s skin previously looked like the sagging skin of a turkey.

Now Miss Ede has her sights set on a nose job and dental work to further feminise her appearance.

Before her life-changing win she was a prominent social media personality who had appeared on TV programmes like The Jeremy Kyle Show to describe her battles as a transgender woman.

Speaking last month, Miss Ede revealed her plans to more than double her fortune to £10m by launching her own reality television show and publishing an autobiography.

Miss Ede explained how she had the transition operation seven years ago and now wants to write a book about her ‘extraordinary life’.

She bought the scratchcard after stopping at a garage in Hull for fuel.

After spending £8.91 on diesel she could not decide whether to buy cigarettes or the £10 National Lottery Blue Scratchcard.

Miss Ede, who previously worked up to 15 hours a day, said she had hoped to win £100 to make up for taking off New Year’s Eve for the first time in 25 years.
