Transgender taxi driver Melissa Ede has celebrated her £4million lottery win by recreating Caitlyn Jenner’s Vanity Fair cover shoot – and vowing to use her money to knock the reality star ‘off her pedestal’.

Melissa, 57, became a millionaire with a £10 National Lottery Blue Scratchcard days after her partner asked her to marry her with a Christmas proposal.

In an interview to accompany the women’s magazine shoot, she revealed her plans to more than double her fortune to £10m by launching her own reality television show and publishing an autobiography.

Melissa Ede, 57, recreated Caitlyn Jenner’s iconic pose when she first revealed herself to the world on the cover of Vanity Fair in July 2015

‘I think Caitlyn Jenner is incredibly glamorous,’ she told Closer Magazine.

‘I’ve only ever been able to afford clothes from Primark, but now I’m going to use my money to update my wardrobe so I can finally knock her off her pedestal!’

Born Bruce Jenner, the head of the Kardashian family transitioned into a woman in 2015 and used the Vanity Fair shoot to reveal herself to the word in July that year.

Melissa sort to recreate her iconic pose while wearing a cream-coloured corset.

She said: ‘I’m hoping to launch a clothing line and release an autobiography-plus I’ve had offers to do my own reality show. I’m going to be the next Kardashian!’
