‘Bundy has forever been colloquially known as ‘sugarcane champagne’ and now thanks to Uber Eats we’re able to get sugarcane champers into special bottles that warrant a special Aussie celebration,’ Bundaberg Rum’s award-winning master blender, Sarah Watson, said.

Uber Eats General Manager of Retail, ANZ, Lucas Groeneveld, added: ‘We know Bundy is affectionately dubbed ‘sugarcane champagne’ throughout Queensland so we’re overjoyed to have been able to collaborate with Bundy to create this exclusive item.

‘While the name is tongue in cheek the product is world class in every way.’

People 18 years old and over wanting to sample the limited edition bottling will be able to show their Uber Eats app to bar staff at these venues from 5pm on Friday and Maison de Bundy’s Blanc de Cane will be available until sold out.

There will also be a small run of bottles available through Bundaberg’s membership platform.
