Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett has posted a video of himself sparring ‘an internet troll’ after receiving criticism online.

After ‘one or two weeks’ of comments on Pimblett’s social media from one fan, the UFC star offered him a £500 reward if he could ‘survive’ unlimited rounds in the gym with him.

Somewhat surprisingly, the ‘troll’ agreed to the fight and stepped into the octagon with a man who has won his last six UFC fights and recently tapped out 10 US Marines in a row.

Pimblett’s rookie opponent was clearly nervous from the start, but ‘The Baddy’ went fairly easy on him, throwing a few light punches and kicks before they called it a day.

In the end, the ‘troll’ did more damage to himself than his opponent managed, as he appeared to pull something while going for a kick in their first round.

They fought three rounds before a kick on his side led to the challenger calling time on the session.

Despite his opponent’s earlier comments online, Pimblett offered him a hug after the fight, and said he has ‘major respect’ for a non-fighter that was willing to spar him.

‘I’ve been asking other MMA fighters to come and spar me and they’re all scared,  and you’ve never walked in an MMA gym in your life, and you got down,’ he said.

The ‘troll’ apologised to Pimblett for his earlier comments online, and added he felt like he should ‘go to the hospital’ after the mild beating he received.

He did not get his £500 reward after ending the session early, but was given £50 for his efforts.

When he’s not fighting fans, Pimblett faces a big 2023 as he looks to work his way towards a title shot.

He still appears to be searching for his level in the UFC, but a character of his magnitude will never fail to attract fans.
