USA reached the CONCACAF Nations League final after beating rivals Mexico 3-0 Thursday night.

As expected the semifinal clash was a feisty affair but B.J. Callaghan’s side proved too strong at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.

It was the interim manager’s first match in charge and Christian Pulisic opened the scoring in the 37th minute.

The winger, who endured a difficult season with Chelsea in the Premier League, doubled his and his nation’s lead straight after halftime.

Ricardo Pepi added a third 12 minutes from time but there was plenty of other action.

Four players saw red as tensions flared. Mexico’s Cesar Montes was the first to go, followed by USMNT’s Weston McKennie and then Gerardo Arteaga and Sergino Dest were dismissed in the 85th.

The game was halted late on due to discriminatory chanting.
