Todd Glover, 36, is accused of sexually assaulting two teenage girls at a casino

A Texas veterinarian who is accused of raping two teenagers at a Louisiana casino allegedly used medication from his practice to incapacitate them.

Todd Glover, 36, from Santa Fe is alleged to have given drinks to ‘Jenny Doe’ and two other minors at the Coushatta Casino Resort on December 1, 2018.

The drinks were allegedly laced with medication normally reserved for animals.

In documents obtained by ABC13 the victims only realized something untoward had happened after they woke up from the deep sleep the medication placed them in.

The lawsuit alleges the victims were unconscious and that Glover ‘proceeded to engage in non-consensual sexual acts with Jenny Doe’.

Texas Rangers along with State Troopers raided Glover’s veterinarian office.

The Texas State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners also joined the Rangers at the Animal Hospital of Santa Fe as they searched for clues.

Glover was then charged in January with rape and battery, charges which he denies.

‘Despite being aware of the fact that (the victim) could not legally or ethically consent to an exchange of sexual acts, Glover exploited and took advantage of (her),’ the lawsuit alleges. ‘No person could reasonably believe that (she) could give valid consent for sexual contact.’

‘This lawsuit seeks to hold Dr. Glover and the business entities he is affiliated with accountable not only for sexual assault but also for the lack of safety measures taken to ensure the powerful drugs used in animal clinics not fall in to the hands of people like Todd Glover,’ said the plaintiffs’ attorney, Samantha Martinez.

Martinez said Glover and the girls knew each other prior to the trip to Louisiana, although the type of connection was not immediately clear according to the Houston Chronicle.

The girl and her family are seeking more than $100,000 in damages.

As a result of the allegations against him, Glover’s licence has been temporarily suspended and he is no longer allowed to practice.

The lawsuit also accused Glover’s businesses of improperly securing medication.

Authorities with the Texas Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners allege Glover did not keep proper records of several controlled substances used to treat pet ailments, including ketamine, tramadol and diazepam.
