Williams’ publicist Shawn Zanotti told told The U.S. Sun that she checked into a ‘wellness facility’ in an effort to ‘manage her overall health issues.’

Sources told Page Six that the production company for her one-time series, Debmar-Mercury, ‘refused’ to assist in the effort to get Williams help amid her issues.

‘They turned their backs on her,’ the source said. ‘They had too much control over someone so vulnerable.’

Williams’ ex-husband Kevin Hunter told the outlet this past July that ‘Debmar would not support Wendy’s recovery efforts with the family,’ as ‘they would not sign off on anything that would’ve helped her recovery efforts.’
