West Coast Eagles’ vice-captain Luke Shuey has finally popped the question to his longtime girlfriend Danielle Orlando.
The pair, who started dating in 2014, kept their engagement relatively private until last weekend when they celebrated with family and friends.
The high-profile couple encouraged guests to share photos from the event to social media using the hashtag #theshufits.

According to Perth Now, Danielle – a publicist – had been sporting an engagement ring since last November but only now managed to organise a party.
Danielle told the publication that while she and Luke were usually happy to share their relationship on their Instagram accounts, they wanted to keep their engagement ‘private and sacred’.
A video documenting the night was also uploaded to Danielle’s account and shows the pair’s guests mingling beneath what appears to be a purpose-built marquee.
The celebration appears to have been held in a backyard and went on well into the night – with naked light-bulbs strung together to help illuminate the celebration.
