Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan were crowned champions of Love Island 2023 after making it to the final on Monday night.
Before entering the villa, the PE and science teacher already had celebrity connections as his cousin Dean Fagan was in Coronation Street.
Meanwhile, social worker Sanam, 24, boasted 16k Instagram followers before entering the Villa, which has now risen to 36k.
Like every romance on the show, the pair have had a rough ride – with Kai’s former love interest Olivia left furious when his head was turned in Casa Amor – as was hers.
But Kai’s decision to re-couple with Sanam has proven to be a worthy one as they have remained strong ever since.

Who is Kai Fagan?
Before signing up to Love Island, Manchester-born Kai worked as a science and PE teacher, and has also played semi-professional rugby for Burnage RFC.
He says: ‘I’m a Jamaican citizen. Because of that I played rugby 7s for Jamaica. I play semi-professional rugby now for Burnage RFC.
‘I’ve technically got three different degrees and went to three different unis.’
Asked who he would like to play him in a movie based on his life, Kai adds: ‘Michael B. Jordan, he’s pretty cool.’
Explaining why he’s decided to enter the Love Island villa, Kai says he is hoping to find real feelings with another woman as they will be spending so much time together in the villa.
He says: ‘When you first meet someone you never normally get to spend that much time with them, so when you’re genuinely looking for a connection, the Villa is the perfect place to do it.’
Revealing his celebrity crush to be Margot Robbie, Kai also admits he’s already picked his dream dinner guests, adding: ‘Martin Luther King, Muhammad Ali, Sir Alex Ferguson and probably Sylvester Stallone… it’s a weird group of people that, isn’t it?’

Who is Sanam Harrinanan?
Ahead of her debut on the show, Sanam had heir sights set on Kai.
She teased: ‘Kai is my number one. Job wise I think that we’d connect a lot and I think he’s cute!’
The Bedford-native said she was ‘laid-back and fun’ ahead of her entrance, but added, ‘If there’s “that person” then I mean business!’
She did hint that there may be a connection with one of the other boys, admitting: ‘Tom, I love his beard! He’s not my usual type, but there’s something about him that attracts me physically.
‘Casey, he doesn’t seem that serious and I think you could have fun and banter with him,’ she added – however a romance with the boys did not blossom.’
When asked what the number one thing she looks for in a partner was, Sanam said: I want someone to be able to dish banter back to me.
‘I want them to know I’m not always being serious. They have to be on the same level as me.’

Who have they been coupled up with?
Sanam has remained with Kai since she entered the Villa, however her partner was previously with Tanyel Revan, Anna-May Robey, Samie Elishi and Olivia.
Olivia, who was recently dumped from the villa along with Maxwell Samuda, was fuming after Kai got together with Sanam, even though she had partnered up with newcomer Maxwell Samuda herself.
Returning to the main villa, she gave Kai a piece of her mind, and said: ‘It’s very telling, it’s very telling. I can’t say I’m shocked.
‘Missing me already? Clearly not enough, his loss, my gain.’

What has happened in their romance?
Kai and Sanam relationship reached new heights last week.
Having been voted by the rest of the villa to enjoy a night in the Hideaway, the couple turned to sexy props to build the romantic atmosphere.
Kai had a surprise in store for Sanam as he dressed up in an unusual outfit – with a baseball cap and sunglasses – and they wasted no time in exploring all the Hideaway had to offer upon entering.
Sharing a kiss whilst sitting by the pool, Sanam then decided to head inside so she could dress up before performing a sexy dance for him.
Shortly after, Kai reached for the chocolate body paint, with Sanam telling him: ‘I love that, you can definitely lick that off me.’
And the body chocolate seemed to go down a treat as Kai grinned when she began to cover his shirtless body in the sauce.
But when Sanam first entered the scene during the Casa Amor segment, a love triangle formed as she locked lips with both Kai and Casey O’Gorman.
In the main Villa, Kai spoke to Sanam on the daybeds and discussed her kiss with Casey the night before.
Kai told Sanam: ‘The girl I’m gravitating to the most in here is probably you. I enjoy speaking to you. I enjoy getting to know you a little bit.’
Sanam said: ‘I’ve been really enjoying it. I think the people I’ve spoken to the most are you and Casey. I think our conversations flow really well. I feel really comfortable. I can be myself.
‘I don’t know if I’m nervous or if our chats are more boom, boom, boom. With Casey, it’s like what else do I say?’
Kai replied: ‘I heard you guys had a kiss… I thought you’d have been in his bed?’

They both leaned in and shared a smooch, with Sanam rating Kai as better than Casey.
He joked: ‘Better chat, better kisser.’
In the Beach Hut he said: ‘I’d be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy it. I do really like Liv but then Sanam came in and she’s been really flirty. I’m in a really tough situation.’
