A woman won $250,000 on a scratchie just two days before she dreamed about nabbing the jackpot.
The woman from Morayfield, north of Brisbane, purchased the winning $10 Hit It Big ticket at TSG Burpengary News on the weekend.
She told the Golden Casket her dream of winning the top prize lead her and her husband to buy a few scratchies.
But her husband seemed unfazed by the big win and decided to mow the lawn instead of celebrating.
‘When I saw that we won $250,000, I was just like “yeah, that’s nice, I’ll go mow the lawn now” because my wife had the dream a few nights before I kind of expected the win,’ the man said.

‘After he mowed the lawn we thought we better celebrate,’ the woman said.
‘So we went out for a lovely dinner and just enjoyed the fact that soon we’d see a few more zeros in our bank account.’
The Queensland couple have planned to spend their grand prize by travelling to Hong Kong and New Zealand sometime this year.
‘We will also do some renovations on the house and then keep the rest for a rainy day,’ she said.
