The children as well as her husband appeared at the end of the last Wonder Woman movie.
In December Gadot came out in Wonder Woman: 1984.
And when promoting the film she said she was so ‘grateful’ to be cast as Wonder Woman, she didn’t tell anyone she couldn’t breathe in her costume during her initial fittings.
The actress recalled her first costume dressing for her DC Comics superhero alter ego’s iconic outfit and admitted she was still too excited about the role that she didn’t want to raise any objections to anything.
Her one and only: Gadot has been married to Yaron Varsano since 2008 and together they have daughters Maya, aged three, and Alma, aged nine
She told OK! magazine: ‘It’s fairly comfortable, but it wasn’t in the beginning. Two days after they cast me for the role, they brought me to Michigan to do the fittings.
‘I walked into this huge room where there were tons of images of me as Wonder Woman. They got me into the fitting room and I put on the costume, which was crazy.
‘I was so grateful, thankful, and happy to be there that I didn’t say a word about the fact that the costume was incredibly small and tight. I just kept saying, ‘Thank you for having me.’
At home with her husband and her two kids: The star was reading Natalie Portman’s Fables
‘And then I started to breathe really heavily and couldn’t really speak, so the designer did lots of adjustments.’
The character’s costume got a gold upgrade in new movie ‘Wonder Woman 1984’ and though Gadot was delighted with how it looked, she admitted it was neither comfortable nor practical – but it was worth it.
She said: ‘When we decided to go for another outfit, I was very excited. And when [director] Patty Jenkins showed me what we were going for, I was stoked. I thought the costume looked fantastic, but it didn’t look comfortable at all.
‘I was like, OK, how do we make the golden one practical and comfortable? Well, it wasn’t. But it looks great and it was worth the pain.’
In December it was shared that Gadot and Patty Jenkins are officially on board for Wonder Woman 3.
Many years ago: Though they wed in 2008, they first became an item in 2006
Following success both at the box office and on streaming service HBO Max with Wonder Woman 1984, the sequel to 2017’s Wonder Woman, Patty will return to helm the third installment in the DC Extended Universe franchise and
Gal will reprise her role as the titular superheroine. Warner Bros. chief Toby Emmerich said in a statement: ‘As fans around the world continue to embrace Diana Prince, driving the strong opening weekend performance of ‘Wonder Woman 1984’, we are excited to be able continue her story with our real life Wonder Women –
Gal and Patty – who will return to conclude the long-planned theatrical trilogy.’
As per Warner Bros, Wonder Woman 1984 ‘opened to an estimated $16.7 million domestically at the Christmas box office, the best weekend debut since the novel coronavirus began.’
The sequel has since earned $85 million worldwide.

Confirmation that Patty is set to direct the third movie comes after she recently cast doubt that she would be in charge of the third film.
The filmmaker also admitted it could be a long time before the movie sees the light of day, especially given the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the movie industry.
She said: ‘It’s interesting, I actually came up with a story, and Geoff Johns and I beat out an entire story for ‘Wonder Woman 3′ that we were super fired up about, but I’ve never felt this way before as much as I do now.’
She continued: ‘I don’t think I’m doing it next and so I have to sort of wait and see where we are in the world, you know? What I wanted to talk about in [‘WW84′] was very prescient to what I was feeling and what you were sort of feeling was coming. So now I’m not sure. So much has changed in the world.’
Patty insisted she ‘still love[s] the story, I’m sure parts of it, would come over to it, but … I’m trying to say [to myself], ‘Don’t decide. Don’t fall in love with anything. What would Wonder Woman do now? Like, what are you craving Wonder Woman to do now in this world?’
