Woolworths is now selling $10 meerkat statues

Woolworths has re-released its most popular product of all time – a range of adorable garden statues of meerkats.

The retail giant estimates around 150,000 meerkat statues will fly off shelves over spring, with 45 designs available to choose from.

Priced at $10 each, new characters include meerkats dressed as a surf lifesaver, pilot, wizard, beach dancer, singer and more.

Last year Woolworths revealed a whopping 60,000 meerkat statues had been sold in less than a month.

On social media customers have shown off their impressive collections after purchasing nearly the entire range.

The supermarket is also selling a range of over 48 native wildlife ornaments, with 50 cents from each sale set to help native Australian wildlife through the Woolworths and WIRES Food for Wildlife Program.

Mum-of-two Foodie Mumma Ren shared the news on Facebook and others were eager to rush to the supermarket (pictured: a customer’s meerkat statue collection)
