Young Aussie shares how she was invited to Taylor Swift’s house in 2016 – leaving thousands jealous

A young Australian woman has revealed how she was invited to Taylor Swift’s home in 2016.

TikTok user alltoobrooke shared a video, explaining she received a secret invite to the pop star’s Los Angeles property for a ‘secret session’.

The woman named Brooke said Taylor had been following her on social networking site Tumblr since 2016 and by 2018 she was ‘interacting with my posts all the time.’

‘One day I just randomly got this [direct message] from Taylor Nation and I couldn’t believe it,’ she said.

‘I genuinely did not think it was real. But then I immediately knew it was for the Lover secret sessions because people had gotten the same message in the past.’

After a couple of days, Brooke received a call from a New York number asking if she could attend a ‘secret event in Los Angeles in two weeks time’.

‘He told me this was the only phone call I would get so to make sure I would write all the [information] down. He told me the date and time and place to meet and not to tell anybody about it,’ she said.

She then booked a flight and on the day of the event, made her way to the meeting place where several vans picked up 50 fans.

‘We had to hand over our phones and any gifts we wanted to give to Taylor,’ she said.

The fans were taken to the house and walked into the living room which was set up for them.

‘Later the door opens and Taylor walks out. I was in shock,’ she continued.

‘She comes in, sits down in a chair in front of us all, connects her phone to a speaker to plays us to the whole Lover album before it was released to the public.’

Brooke said they sat in the room for hours while Taylor explained the inspirations behind each song.

‘We then all got called in to have one on one time with Taylor,’ she added before revealing she had spoken to her about love and relationships.

‘It was truly the best night of my entire life.’
