Lisa Eldridge Make-Up Tutorial With Claudia Schiffer

It’s been 30 years since Claudia Schiffer began her illustrious career and she’s celebrating with a new book featuring her favorite fashion moments and a new eponymous make-up line that contains everything from eyeshadow palettes to nail polish.

Celebrity make-up artist Lisa Eldridge put some of the collection to the test in a new Youtube video where she transforms the blonde bombshell into another blonde bombshell, Brigitte Bardot.

Luckily, you don’t have to be a supermodel to nail the iconic, sultry look at home. Read on below for Lisa’s top tips.

From one icon to another: Make-up artist Lisa Eldridge transformed Claudia Schiffer, 47, into a ’60s-era Brigitte Bardot in her latest YouTube tutorial

Instead of a primer, Lisa reached for a creamy slate eyeshadow and applied it over Claudia’s eyelids as a base. Next came the application of two cool-toned matte neutral powders from the Smashbox Full Exposure palette.

‘I love using powders on top of something creamy that’s already set,’ Lisa explained. ‘Even though it’s a dark eye, I want it to have some life.’

To achieve ‘that ’60s winged look’, the make-up artist then applied black eyeshadow into the crease.

For liner, Lisa used a liquid formula (Artdeco Roll It Disc Eyeliner) along Claudia’s top lash line, and a creamy pencil (Claudia Schiffer Make Up Smoky Eye Styler) along the bottom, sweeping it up at the outer corner to meet the black eyeshadow and define the wing.

The area was complete with a curl of the lashes, plenty of black mascara and falsies.

THE FACE

With her enviably high cheekbones and ageless skin, Claudia didn’t need much to Bardot-ify her complexion.

After applying Tarte Shape Tape Contour Concealer under the model’s eyes, Lisa swept a touch of Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Pearl along the tops of the cheekbones and then lightly contoured with Kevyn Aucoin Sculpting Powder.

A peachy-pink blush went on last ‘to bring it all together’.

‘A white-ish peachy shade is definitely straight from that era,’ Lisa said as she applied Claudia Schiffer Make Up Lip Liner in Praline. ‘Overdraw on the top lip to get that pouty shape,’ she continued.

The pro finished the look with a swipe of Claudia Schiffer Make Up Cream Lipstick in Nude, which she described as an ‘opaque peachy color’.
