A Murder at The End of the World FIRST LOOK: Emma Corrin looks beaten and bloody as they take on new character Darby Hart in Disney thriller

Emma Corrin looked rather worse for wear as they sat in a hospital bed with blood on their face as they was seen in character of their new Disney plus thriller, A Murder at The End of the World.

The Crown star, 27, was worlds away from their character in the Netflix series, who was famed for playing Princess Diana, as they sported a lively pink hair colour for the new series.

They looked very serious as they stared into the camera while wearing a large black collard suit.

In another snap, Emma was seen wearing a blue all in one suit as they and co-star Alice Braga wondered around the snow covered mountains.

The psychological thriller, which was released last month, tells the story of a modern-day detective who tries to solve crimes and fix the climate crisis.

Emma portrays Darby Hart, a Gen Z sleuth who takes on the role of makeshift detective as a guest at a retreat is found dead.

A Murder at The End of the World features familiar faces, including Brit Marling (Lee), as well as, Clive Owen (Andy), Alice (Sian) and Harris Dickinson (Bill).

Darby Hart (Emma Corrin) receives an invitation to attend a retreat in a remote location.

However, the trip quickly goes awry after Darby turns ‘Gen Z amateur sleuth’ rushing to solve a murder before the killer strikes again.

Even though Disney+ have only launched five episodes of the show so far, audiences are already clearly enamoured, as the series already boasts an incredible Rotten Tomatoes score of 97 per cent.

Fans took to X, formerly known as Twitter, labelling the thriller as ‘the best show of the year’.

A second wrote: ‘Y’all , I’m obsessed with Darby & Bill on a Murder at the end of the world.. OBSESSED’

‘The butterflies you get from just watching them is the reason I love A Murder At The End of The World,’ added another.

Some even went as far as to say Agatha Christie would have approved of the murder mystery’s ‘ingenuous’ denouement.

Another was shocked to learn the OA was created by Brit and Zal, penning: ‘So just learned the OA and A Murder at the End of The World were made by the same person and that makes so much sense they ate so bad….netflix…pray.’

Another chimed in: ‘Between the OA and murder at the end of the world, Brit Marling’s work truly excites me in a way television really hasn’t yet… in a way that I thought only film could. Baby’s got style.’

Regarding the most recent episode of the thriller, someone else commented: ‘Just finished S1 E4 of A Murder at the End of the World… GREAT end to the episode.

‘A nice little twist thrown in. I’ll admit that my jaw dropped right as I heard it happen. Now, we wait for next Tuesday. Great stuff.’

‘I felt compelled to watch to the end: it’s beautifully acted (Owen is downright unnerving),’ another quipped.

‘And the story, while conducted at a maddening pace, is atmospheric and deeply intriguing.’
