Alice Evans looks strained in first sighting since she was kicked out of court for taking photos of ex-husband Ioan Gruffudd in child support hearing

Alice Evans looked strained as she was seen for the first time since being kicked out of court during her child support hearing.

The actress, 56, was temporarily removed on Monday after allegedly taking photographs of her ex Ioan Gruffudd in the court room.

And the following day Evans was seen out as she ran errands in Los Angeles.

The mother-of-two cut a casual figure in a black vest and leggings, layering up with a blouse and scarf and carrying a large brown handbag.

She completed her look with wayfarer shades and black sandals.

Evans took to Instagram that day to reveal why she had taken a picture of her ex husband, claiming she had seen him talking to a legal blogger – who she calls a ‘mega troll’ – before the incident.

The 102 Dalmatians actress caused a sensation after apparently taking pictures of Gruffudd in court Monday, which is forbidden – even striding across the court room at the LA Superior Court to do so.

A court officer ejected her from the room and stood over her as she deleted them before she was allowed to re-enter.

It can now be revealed that Evans’ actions were prompted after she saw Gruffudd chatting to legal blogger Andrea Burkhart.

Burkhart has posted a number of critical tweets and made several YouTube videos about the divorce case between Evans and Gruffudd although.

Ms Burkhart posted a picture of herself outside the court before proceedings began on X writing: ‘Well this road trip has been super fun but now it’s time to see how ‘abject poverty’ Alice Evans does in court today.’

Ms Evans reposted her post on Instagram and wrote: ‘Watch out for this mega troll. She’s insane.’

She added: ‘Omg am in court and just got told there is a stalker right here inside the room. This is beyond.’

A few hours later she wrote: ‘I DID notice something VERY interesting which I what I was trying to take a picture of. An interaction with somebody else in the courtroom.’

She added: ‘She’s obsessed. Scary s***. She’s also very good friends with somebody else in this case which I was absolutely astonished to see. Wow.’

Evans, who is banned from posting about Gruffudd or his girlfriend by a restraining order, went on: ‘I wasn’t taking a picture just of her.

‘I was VERY intrigued at who she was sitting behind and appeared to be very friendly with, not a great look when you’re that friendly with somebody who is known to be a gigantic troll.

‘It’s one thing to be linked to the Tattlers… but this one?’

She later wrote: ‘I wasn’t taking a picture of Ioan. I was trying to get a picture of the stalker!’

Burkhart is a criminal defence attorney licensed in Washington and has 83,000 followers on her YouTube channel where she discusses various cases, including weighing in on the Johnny Depp/Amber Heard trial in 2022. She previously claimed  Depp was a ‘hero’ for exposing his abuse at the hands of Ms Heard.

She’s been vocal in her low opinion of Alice Evans, who she claims is lying about her financial situation.

Evans recently said on Instagram that she had received over 250,000 trolling comments on the website Tattle Life.

The drama unfolded as the feuding exes sat on opposite sides of the courtroom, with Evans shooting an occasional icy grimace at her ex, who just stared forward as they waited for the start of a hearing about child support payments for their two young daughters.

Ms Evans walked across the courtroom and began taking photographs of her ex at point-blank range, while he looked on incredulously, it was reported on Monday.

An LA County deputy quickly approached the British-American actress and told her to delete them.

‘Stop that. Delete those. I’m not asking you…I’m telling you,’ the officer ordered her sternly.

He told her to leave the courtroom before standing over the nervous-looking Evans as she obeyed his instructions to delete all the photos she had taken.

The deputy eventually allowed her back into the courtroom, but just a few minutes later, seeing her openly holding her phone, he ordered her outside again to make sure she hadn’t taken any more photos and warn her a second time against doing so.

It came as the war between the former couple rumbles on in its third year, with the expected confrontation in court between the pair now moved to February 13.

The hearing will be held to decide how much spousal support Gruffudd should pay and determine child support payments for Ella, 15 and Elsie, 11.

At that hearing, Gruffudd plans to call his 32 year-old fiancée Bianca Wallace as a witness.

On Monday, Judge Stinn heard that both sides had reached a stipulated agreement in which Gruffudd pays $3,000 a month temporary child support and $1,500 a month temporary spousal support until the February hearing.
