Alyssa Milano dons statement shirt as actress jets out of Washington DC

She attended the hearings of Dr. Christine Blasey Ford and Brett Kavanaugh on Thursday.

And one day later, Alyssa Milano was spotted at the airport in Washington D.C. rocking a T-shirt with the statement: ‘When women support each other great things happen.’

The 45-year-old actress paired the bold top with a khaki colored jacket and skinny jeans for a comfortable ensemble for her flight back home to Los Angeles on Friday.

Alyssa donned the $125 Alice + Olivia by Stacey Bendet T-shirt for her flight.

She sported fitted black jeans with coordinating boots, adding an oversized khaki jacket.

The mother of two added glasses and a mini black crossbody handbag, adding pins to the strap.

Ayssa wore her brunette locks pulled up into a high bun with pink glossed lips and a touch of blush on her cheeks.

She was seen at the hearings for both Brett Kavanaugh and Dr. Christine Blasey Ford.

Alyssa was invited as guest of California senator Dianne Feinstein. 

The movie star was seen filming parts of the hearing yesterday, breaking the rules of the Senate Judiciary Committee.

A security guard walked up to her and ordered her to stop.

Only accredited members of the press are permitted to video record in the Committee hearing room; non-flash photography is permitted. 

She told AFP that she came from Los Angeles ‘to show support for Doctor Ford, to stand in solidarity with other women, other survivors that have been through similar experiences.’

Adding: ‘I think the most beautiful thing that’s come out of the last two years is really understanding that women are here for each other. To be part of that is very special.’

Alyssa talked to Cosmopolitan.com about the experience of being in the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing.

She told the magazine that it was ‘so emotional’ and she arrived there full of ‘hope.’

She said of Dr. Ford’s testimony: ‘There were things I will just never forget. What she remembered so vividly – the hearing of sounds going down the stairwell, that she was wearing a one-piece bathing suit, the laughter.’

Adding: ‘Those little details that victims of sexual assault know are so imprinted on our being, it just struck me.’ 

While he spoke she said to Cosmopolitan that he was ‘so volatile and emotional’ and thought to herself: ‘If a woman acted like this during a line of questioning, she would be considered totally unhinged or hormonal or accused of having a meltdown, or worse, of being a b****h.

Adding to the magazine: ‘So watching him, I just felt like, this guy does not have the temperament to be on the Supreme Court, regardless of the allegations.’

After Kavanaugh’s testimony, she felt ‘total defeat’ but said she is ‘not hopeless.’

The Charmed actress told the magazine: ‘I believe: We’re going to take back the House. We’re going to take back the Senate. And once that happens, I’m going to lobby my heart out to get Kavanaugh impeached.’
