She is rarely seen without her trademark sunglasses.

But for a second time this week, Anna Wintour has opted to go without her signature shades at the Australian Open in Melbourne on Tuesday.

The 69-year-old showed off her age-defying visage to watch the tennis match between Australia’s Ash Barty and Czech Petra Kvitová.

She also toted a floral printed clutch, and appeared to be holding on to her phone and sunglasses – in case she would need them later.

While her famously frosty demeanour earned her the nickname ‘Nuclear Wintour’, there were no signs of an icy attitude as she warmly greeted the tennis fans sitting alongside her.

Earlier in the week, the fashionista also decided to go without her staple accessory of sunglasses as she attended Roger Federer’s game against Greek sensation Stefanos Tsitsipas.

Anna first announced her plans to visit Melbourne for the Australian Open last November.
