Aubrey O’Day opens up about AirSculpt treatment

Ahead of her appearance on Ex on the Beach, singer Aubrey O’Day turned to a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon fora body contouring and fat loss ‘laser liposuction’ treatment.

The San Francisco-born singer, 34, opted to have the minimally-invasive method, called AirSculpt, on her chin and abdomen ahead of her return to TV for the latest season of the hit MTV show. The Hollywood-approved treatment starts at $5,000 per area, and the results are seen instantly.

Invented by Dr. Aaron Rollins, the founder of Elite Body Sculpture, AirSculpt has already been performed over 25,000 times since it hit the market six years ago.

The bi-coastal M.D. has said that the lead-up to awards season is always his busiest time, as clients flock to him to remove unwanted pockets of fat – and the results can be seen straight away.

As Aubrey was preparing to go on MTV’s Ex on the Beach show, she suffered an injury which left her unable to work out and tone up before filming began.

After trying out CoolSculpt, another popular fat removal technique that freezes fat cells off, but being unhappy with the results, the controversial star turned to Dr. Rollins and the team at his Beverly Hills office to find a solution.

AirSculpt requires no anesthesia, scalpel or stitches. Aubrey had the procedure in March and walked out of the office already happy with the results.

Rollins previously told the Hollywood Reporter that ‘A-listers, models, agents, executives, royalty, and rock stars’ can’t get enough of AirSculpt.

He explained to Allure that the pricey treatment ‘removes fat cell-by-cell through a freckle-sized hole while simultaneously tightening your skin.’

‘You come in with your fat and you leave without it,’ he said.

When having AirSculpt, the area in question is number with a needle-free device and two holes the size of a pencil tip are created. A laser is used to melt fat cells and tighten the skin before the cells are removed using a cannula. From start to finish, it takes less than an hour.

Christi Lukasiak of Dance Moms fame, actress Lauren Wirkus and model Marie Madoré are all fans of the procedure.
