Aussie foodies discover Guzman y Gomez can cater weddings for the ultimate budget reception feast

Australian couples can now have their weddings fully catered by Mexican takeaway chain Guzman y Gomez. 

Newly weds have been sharing their wedding photos of them and their guests enjoying burritos, nachos, chips and guacamole online. 

The news excited thousands of fans of the Tex-Mex eatery who said the banquet would be their ‘dream’ wedding meal.

One Brisbane couple who hired Guzman y Gomez to provide their reception dinner posted their wedding photos on Facebook. 

‘Dinner – please help yourself to a meal and chips’ a sign on the banquet table read as guests treated themselves to the tasty takeaway. 

Some singletons joked the post prompted them to start planning for Guzman catering at their not-yet-existent wedding cerebrations while some said they wish they could have used the takeaway service at their own nuptials.

‘Yeeessss….This makes me *almost* consider getting out there and dating again, JUST so I could one day fulfil the dream of being a burrito-banquet bride!’ one woman wrote. 

‘Yes yes yes. I don’t even have a boyfriend and I’m planning this,’ another laughed. 

‘Nah the way that this has influenced me for my future wedding,’ a foodie replied.  

‘If this ain’t happening at my wedding, I send it back,’ said a second while a third commented: ‘I’d get married again just to do this!’
