Bachelorette Sophie Monk defends ‘stage 5 clinger’ Jarrod

According to betting agencies and impassioned fans, Jarrod Woodgate winning the Bachelorette would mark the biggest upset in series history.

But on Thursday, Sophie Monk appeared on Nova’s Fitzy and Wippa to heap praise on the ‘stage five clinger’ and insist their connection is real.

‘I’m telling you he’s such a beautiful caring person,’ she insisted, shutting-down fan chatter suggesting he’s only in the final two to stop ‘winner’ Stu Laundy panicking.

Massive upset on the cards? Bachelorette Sophie Monk appeared on Nova FM Thursday, to defend ‘stage five clinger’ Jarrod Woodgate, describing him as a ‘beautiful, caring person’

It comes as Sportsbet holds firm with its odds-on favourite price for millionaire Stu, despite multiple reports alleging the pub baron is already back on the dating scene.

Nova hosts were shocked by Sophie’s defense of vineyard owner Jarrod, who’s been painted by editors as an intensely jealous, obsessed individual.

They asked the former actress to explain the appeal, causing the beauty to becoming instantly defensive of her potential life partner.

Sophie admitted to picking up on his ‘quite heavy and full on’ advances, but added: ‘I don’t mind a bit of that to be honest!’

She added: ‘I see a different side [than] you guys see and so I’m watching it as it unfolds as well’.
