Barcelona ‘have been offered an ENDLESS list of players including Edinson Cavani, Timo Werner, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Paulo Dybala’ with Xavi looking for bargains to bolster his cash-strapped side

Barcelona have been offered a lengthy list of players to sign either this month or in the summer, according to reports, with Timo Werner, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Edinson Cavani among the names.

The Spanish giants are in a season of transition under new boss Xavi – trailing leaders Real Madrid by 17 points after a turbulent campaign that has seen the club sack Ronald Koeman.

And after losing star man Lionel Messi on a free transfer with the club battling a financial crisis, the club’s legendary former midfielder will be eyeing up more talent to add to his ranks and restore Barcelona to their former glory.

Barca boss Xavi is looking for bargains to bolster his cash-strapped side this summer

Mundo Deportivo claim Barcelona have been presented with an ‘endless’ list of players to sign – mainly players whose contract are coming to an end at the end of the season – and they include a handful of Premier League stars.

Manchester United’s Cavani would be ‘delighted’ to play at the Nou Camp, the report says, claiming he is ‘an option’ with his current deal expiring this summer. Xavi is said to be prioritising a new striker to fire his team to the LaLiga title next season.

Chelsea’s Werner and Arsenal’s Aubameyang are two more forwards he has the chance to sign, he adds – with Werner still not firmly first choice at Stamford Bridge after the arrival of £98m Romelu Lukaku.

And with Aubameyang’s Arsenal career seemingly in tatters after being stripped of the club captaincy, it is unlikely the Gunners would stand in his way if Barcelona came calling for the Gabon star.

Agents have also proposed a move for Alexandre Lacazette – who, like Cavani, becomes a free agent this summer. The same can be said of Liverpool’s Divock Origi, who could leave Anfield for nothing in June, while Chelsea’s former Brazilian stars Oscar and Diego Costa are options too, the report adds.

It says a ‘more interesting offer’ has been the possibility of signing Juventus star Paulo Dybala, whose contract also ends this summer and has been strongly linked with an exit from Turin.

The Argentine star would be a ‘serious alternative’ to the more pricey Dortmund striker Erling Haaland, it says, while Fiorentina’s Dusan Vlahovic – linked with Spurs and Arsenal – is among the players to have been offered to them, although he is believed to be asking for £300,000 per week.
