Labor Leader Bill Shorten has put the call out for a replacement for the woman who quit her position as his ‘advancer’ to become a contestant on The Bachelor.
Alisha Aitken-Radburn was revealed as one of the women to have uprooted her life to try her luck with Bachelor, Nick ‘The Honey Badger’ Cummins, last week.
Despite having entered the Bachelor Mansion to commence filming this week, it seemed Miss Aitken-Radburn’s position was still yet to be filled.

The advert for the current empty role described the Office of the Leader of the Opposition to be seeking a ‘conscientious advancer to work within the media unit’.
‘As an advancer you are responsible for researching, planning and executing media events for the leader of the opposition,’ the poster, which was shared online, read.
‘Working closely with the diary manager and media team, you will have an eye for detail, and understanding of politics and a positive attitude.’
‘The advancer will work closely with all members of the Leader’s Office Media Unit and report to the Senior Communications Adviser…’.

The blonde was spotted in a Sydney hotel last week, with a source revealing to Daily Mail Australia an email ‘went around the office saying she has left to ‘pursue a project’.’
The source also claimed the 25-year-old recently split with boyfriend Dean Shachar, who was ‘Vice President of the Young Liberals’ and an adviser for Pru Goward, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Miss Aitken-Radburn’s Instagram profile includes several photos of herself with Dean taken during their relationship.
She used to work as a liaison producer at Sky News and has been employed as a research assistant for the Parliament of NSW.

In an open letter published on Honi Soit, the student newspaper of the University of Sydney, Aitken-Radburnwas was allegedly involved in a race scandal.
A Honi Soit writer alleged she had ‘upset’ some Facebook users over comments she made underneath a picture of two women in ‘blackface’.
‘The picture in the post was of two young white women in ‘mud masks’, dark faces in stark contrast to pallid necks, grinning into the camera,’ the open letter claimed.
