Binham driver’s lucky escape when he crashed into building

A lorry driver had a lucky escape when he reduced a building to rubble during a smash on a narrow country lane.

The HGV sent debris flying across the road in Binham, North Norfolk, when it crashed into the wall at around 7am today.

Thankfully the driver was left unscathed by the collision and no one was in the building at the time.

Police have urged drivers to steer clear of the scene with the road closed in the small coastal village.

A team of workers has been called in by Highways England to help clear the carnage, which is still believed to be covering the road hours later

North Norfolk Police (@NorthNorfPolice) twreted: “Langham Road in Binham is currently closed due to a single vehicle RTC. Please avoid the area if possible.”
