‘Heartbreak has been a constant theme in my personal life, and I take responsibility when things go wrong’ he said.

‘All that changed seven years ago when I met Camille. It’s the first time I’ve ever felt fulfilled by a relationship. She has taught me to be present.’

Kate and Chris separated in 2006 and finalized their divorce in 2007, but Kate retained an amicable relationship with him as they brought up their son.

The daughter of Goldie Hawn and Bill Hudson became a mother to son Ryder, 20, from her marriage to Black Crowes singer Chris Robinson when she was aged 23.

The actress, 45, is mum to sons Ryder and Bingham, 12, and daughter Rani, five.

Kate shares Bingham with her ex-fiancé Matt Bellamy of Muse fame and Rani with her current longtime love and musician, Danny Fujikawa.

The How To Lose a Guy in Ten Days star appeared on the podcast Table for Two with Bruce Bozzi and spoke about feeling like she ‘had failed’ in her relationship with Robinson and former husband Matt Bellamy.

‘As hard as the decisions were in my life, and the depth in which I felt like I had failed relationships and family, with my partners throughout those years – whether it be Chris or Matt – I knew it was the right thing to not be in those relationships’ she said.

The Glass Onion star went on to say, ‘It’s a choice; you either stay in them, wondering what your life would have been like if you would have left them or [you] choose to leave.’

Hudson spoke about being on great terms with both exes – especially Bellamy, as the pair are ‘so close.’
