Bride’s bizarre engagement ring which features a centre stone only visible from the side is slammed by social media users who compare it to jewelled TWEEZERS

Social media users have slammed a quirky engagement ring, which features three green jewels mounted at opposing angles as its centre piece.

Photos shared of the anonymous bride’s ring were shared to global Facebook group That’s It, I’m Ring Shaming, and quickly racked up hundreds of horrified comments.

Posting the pictures to the site, the user showed the different angles of the ring, which appeared to be embellished in diamonds and a variety of coloured gems, writing: ‘A ring ‘only slightly’ acceptable from one angle’.

The ring features a double band at a ‘V’ angle, encrusted with blue gems, while a large green gem is set within two matching side gems, surrounded by diamonds, and only visible at an angle. 

However many users argued that it wasn’t acceptable from ‘any angle’, with one replying: ‘Which angle? It’s hideous all around.’ 

Another added: ‘Oh no. Its colors don’t even match!’, while one wrote: ‘Ew I would only accept this if my neck my neck was crooked’, referring to the awkward angle of the gems.

And the ring was compared to an array of objects, from the sick emoji to jewelled tweezers.
