- She was incredibly happy with the end result and the process wasn’t stressful
An Aussie interior designer who played a game of chance by blindly choosing her next hairstyle at her appointment is thrilled with the results.
With her eyes closed Brooke Styles, from Queensland, chose between two options written on pieces of paper before unveiling her finished look of gorgeous blonde waves.
Brooke told Daily Mail Australia she couldn’t decide between dying her hair red or blonde and stumbled across the ‘fun’ card concept on TikTok, which involves the same process to pick nail art.
She captured the process in a short video which has now gone viral on Instagram racking up more than 98,000 views.

Brooke was given the opportunity to choose between red or blonde and chose the latter, then picked between a ‘root stretch’ or ‘scalp bleach’ look and chose the first.
It was close when choosing between a fringe or to remain without ‘bangs’, which she did, and styled her hair curly rather than straight.
‘I’ve been blonde my whole life and recently went to a red/strawberry colour, so it was so hard to make a decision on returning to blonde or keeping up with what I loved,’ Brooke said.
‘Once I arrived at my appointment with my hair stylist from Stefan Hair, Bonnie, I told her how indecisive I was.
‘Since I didn’t mind which way we went, Bonnie put together the options that would work with either outcome.’

After choosing each piece of paper, Brooke saw the cards and went on with the blind choices.
Brooke said she is pleased with the end result but wish she got the card that read ‘bangs’ – meaning a fringe.
She also recommended the fun activity to those who dare.
‘It’s a bit of fun if you are undecided on your new look or a little bit of a risk taker!’ she said.
Others online dubbed the transformation as ‘amazing’, while some said she should’ve chosen red to begin with.
‘Omg I would’ve been so nervous!’ one women wrote.

Brooke was given the option of copper or brunette – choosing the latter without while her eyes were closed. She then chose short hair instead of long, and curtain bangs rather than no bangs
The video also inspired former Bachelorette Brooke Blurton to use the same concept while at the hairdresser.
The 26-year-old went to a salon in Melbourne and chose off the cards before unveiling her finished look of a slinky, dark brunette bob.
‘Inspired by [TikTok star] @brookestyless I had to step out of my comfort zone today and thanks to these two angels Bonnie and Carla at @carlalawsonhairextensions who looked after me in the salon today,’ she wrote on Instagram.
The completed look was a deep chocolate brown bob which only just reached her shoulders, and short curtain bangs to shape her face.
