California woman slams restaurant for its lousy vegan meal after waiting TWO HOURS for it to arrive

A California woman says she was left disappointed and insulted after waiting two hours for a vegan meal at a restaurant.

When Taylor Mooney finally received her $7 veggie pretzel bun while out for Father’s Day with her family, she says everyone’s ‘jaws dropped’.

‘My meal was so dry I had to drown it in mustard and sauerkraut. When I actually started eating it was so gross. Crunchy vegetables on dry bread does not go at all – it’s such a weird texture!’ Mooney told UNILAD.

The vegan, who has 8,000 followers on Instagram, posted a photo of the meal to Twitter and received mixed feedback.

Mooney was with her family at a new German restaurant that opened in Rocklin, California, called Kathrin’s Biergarten.

Their menu only appears to have one vegan option amid a slew of traditional German pork and beef.

Mooney said the restaurant advertised itself as being vegan and vegetarian friendly.

While everyone’s food arrived, Mooney said she was forced to wait extra long – totaling two full hours.

When her meal finally came out, the ‘delicious veggies’ she was hoping for was actually ‘a few green beans and two baby carrots sliced in half’ and in a bun.

‘I ordered the only vegan option and had very high expectations but it took two hours to come out and it was honestly insulting!’ Mooney told UNILAD.

Mooney also complained that everyone else’s non-vegan meals came with a side of veggies including lettuce and onion.

She called the meal the ‘saddest looking thing’.

‘Everyone else had massive plates with tons of food on it and mine came out with just this and it was the saddest looking thing and all our jaws dropped and then we started laughing at it because we were expecting so much more,’ she said.

After posting the photo of her food to Twitter with  the caption ‘This is the vagn option that I waited 2 hours for’, it got more than 2,00 likes and 600 retweets.

This sparked a debate with users telling Mooney to not eat at non-vegan restaurants.

Mooney eventually took to Yelp to write a review of the restaurant and left two stars.
