Camilla tries her hand at painting as she dons chic blue coat to visit London school

The Duchess of Cornwall was looking smart today as she wrapped up against the windy weather in a smart blue coat for a visit to a South London school.

Camilla, 71,  paired the mid-length outerwear with black leather gloves and added a touch of fun with a jaunty spotty scarf around her neck.

The Duchess was visiting St. John’s Angell Town Church of England Primary School in Brixton to officially open a new library, and also helped to finish a mural during the visit.

She also dropped in on St. John’s Angell Town Church, meeting with the Bishop of Southwark and chatting to local community groups.

The Duchess accessorised with pearl earrings, and completed her look with a pair of black suede boots to finish off her look.

The dark blue coat, which was fitted had a soft collar and buttons down the front – keeping her warm on a windy afternoon in London.

Children from the St. John’s Angell Town Church of England Primary School welcomed the royal as she arrived and accompanied Camilla as she was shown around by teachers.
