Arizona Cardinals star wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins has commented on the on-going trade rumors surrounding him this offseason in a video he posted to Instagram on Monday.

Hopkins’s name had been floated in trade rumors since before the season ended and they only intensified in the months leading since.

‘I see everybody telling me to stay,’ Hopkins said in a story post that had his location tagged as Phoenix, Arizona.

‘Who said I wanna go? Who said I wanted to leave? I’m out here working baby.’

He also posted footage of himself and San Francisco 49ers WR Deebo Samuel working out with Exos Sports trainer Nicholas Hill.

Hopkins himself had seemed to play into the trade rumors at one point while he was making an appearance on CBS Sports’ All Things Covered podcast.

During the appearance he used his body language and to hint at how interested he’d be in being traded to certain teams.

At the time Hopkins seemed to imply that he was the most interested in being traded to the Buffalo Bills or Kansas City Chiefs.

Coincidentally Bills pass rusher Von Miller has stated multiple times that Hopkins wished to play for Buffalo.

Hopkins would provide a jolt to  any offense regardless of which uniform he was wearing, especially a championship contender like the Bills.

During his career Hopkins has been named to five Pro Bowls and recorded six seasons 1,000 or more receiving yards .

Last season he caught 64 passes for 717 yards and three touchdowns in nine games after missing part of the season due to a suspension after testing positive for PEDs.

If he does in fact stay in Arizona, Hopkins would once again be the No. 1 target in a receiving core that also features Marquise ‘Hollywood’ Brown and Rondale Moore.

It remains to be seen who Hopkins and Co. will be catching passes from to start this season however, as quarterback superstar quarterback Kyler Murray is recovering from a torn ACL and miss the beginning of the season.
