Cars crash outside Target as they turn into the car park

A driver has posted dash cam footage of his car hitting another vehicle while entering a car park, asking the internet who is at fault.

But Colin might regret doing so given the overwhelming response has been to place the blame squarely on his shoulders.

In the video, taken on October 30 in Australia, Colin can be seen driving down a main road, passing stores like Domino’s, Coles and Subway.

At the corner of the street Colin enters the right-hand lane and turns while the traffic light is amber – but isn’t fully across the road before it changes to red (pictured)

His windscreen wipers are on because it is raining and the roads appear to be reasonably wet.

In the footage it is clear he is driving at quite a fast pace as he continues down the road, only to quickly turn into a Target car park at speed.

A red vehicle is seen exiting the car park before it drives head first into Colin’s car.

Ironically, the female passenger in his car says, ‘Just be careful – we don’t want to go flying, thank you,’ moments before he plows into the car.

The female passenger goes on to ask, ‘Whose fault is that?’ before a man replies, ‘His for coming in.’

Social media commenters on Dash Cam Owners Australia were quick to defend the red vehicle, saying that it’s not his job to ‘give way’.

‘The other car doesn’t have to give way to someone else using his lane to cut corners…they both should’ve been able to pass by each other but the cam car cut the corner and was on the wrong side of the road,’ one person stated.

‘Dash cam driver runs a red, drives way too far to the right on an unmarked road, cuts the corner and tries to enter the parking lot at a stupidly fast speed. Do us all a favour and hand in your licence you absolute twit,’ another said.
