Celebrity Big Brother: Todd Bridges surprisingly wins Head Of Household competition and gains power

Todd Bridges stepped up his game and won the Head of Household competition on Wednesday’s episode of Big Brother: Celebrity Edition on CBS.

While Todd was pleased with himself, Carson Kressley, 52, and Cynthia Bailey, 54, were not. They had made a deal with UFC champion Miesha Tate, 35, and Todrick Hall, 36, to keep themselves safe from eviction, which was now meaningless with Todd being in charge of nominations.

‘So Todd has basically been napping this entire time and now all of the sudden he wants to get up in the club with us and win this competition,’ said Carson. ‘Todd winning this HOH is probably the worst case scenario.’

When the show started, Carson said in a confessional that he was actually sad to see reality star Shanna Moakler, 46, evicted from the house even though he played a bit part in it.

‘But I was more sad that she betrayed us and now I want to move on to the next phase of the competition with my ride or die Ms. Cynthia [Bailey] by my side,’ said Carson.

Miesha was shocked to still be in the house.

‘I can’t believe it,’ said Miesha in a confessional. ‘I pulled off the impossible. Carson has been my nemesis throughout this game and yet I managed to stay here through his HOH. I got Carson to target one of his allies. I’m pretty good, but I’m even better than I thought I was.’

After Shanna left the house, Todrick said, ‘I have never met somebody so self absorbed and so willing to give up your dignity.’

‘The only reason why we had to do that is because she was being shady,’ said Carson.

Meanwhile, Lamar Odom, 42, met with actor Todd, 56, in their room to strategize.

Being shady: 'The only reason why we had to do that is because she was being shady,' said Carson of Shanna Moakler

‘Whoever wins HOH, they’re probably going to put both of us up,’ said Lamar.

Todd said in a confessional that he didn’t know why Lamar was saying that Miesha would put them both up on the block but that he appreciated that he was actually playing the game.

‘Today he gets the participation award, because he’s in the game now’ said Todd.

Lamar said in a confessional that seeing Shanna leave was hard.

‘The problem that some of the houseguests had with her, I didn’t have that problem. I feel bad watching any of my friends leave but that’s part of the game,’ Lamar said.

Lamar blurted out in front of the remaining house guests that he was trying to get Todd’s attention to vote Miesha off.

‘I was going to vote Miesha off because I don’t want to make that decision,’ Lamar said.

‘You,’ Miesha said looking at Lamar. ‘Ok, I’m out. I have to leave before I say something stupid.’

Todd was shocked that Lamar blurted out his game plan in front of everyone.

‘Lamar you are not supposed to tell someone you are going after them,’ Todd said in a confessional.

Miesha said in a confessional that she couldn’t believe that Lamar said that he was considering voting her out instead of Shanna. She shared that she had made a deal with Carson and Cynthia not to put them up this week if she won HOH.

‘I think it’s a big deal that we made this deal with two very strong competitors,’ said Carson in a confessional. ‘Of course we could always use a little extra insurance. This deal could keep both Cynthia and myself in the competition.’

Miesha said in her confessional that for this one week that she and Todrick were going to honor their deal and not target either Carson or Cynthia.

‘But after that, all bets are off,’ said Miesha.

At the HOH contest, the houseguests were instructed to put on their cutest club outfit. They changed and then walked into a room redone as an HOH club. Each of the remaining contestants stood behind a bar with their name on it. For the competition, they had to taste drinks and name its extra ingredients in the cocktail. The winner after seven rounds would be the new HOH.

‘I need this win for my resume,’ Todrick said in a confessional before the competition.

‘I’m feeling very confident,’ said Miesha to the camera.

Lamar said to the camera ‘at this point in the game, I’m really hoping to secure a win. It’s time that Lamar is the head of the household.’

Carson passed out the drinks to the houseguests. The first drink was green and appeared to have sauerkraut on top with an orange and was called the ‘Todrick Collins.’

‘The Todrick Collins isn’t even an aesthetically pleasing looking drink,’ said Todrick in a confessional. ‘ I’m having my lawyer send a cease and desist immediately because this is not a drink that would be Todrick approved at all,’ said Todrick to the camera.

Cynthia said to the camera ‘I was expecting my Todrick Collins to be fabulous like Todrick and it’s not. Honey this couldn’t be anymore anti fabulous. ‘

Todd guessed correctly that the missing ingredient was ginger beer and won the round as he took an early lead that he held onto to win HOH.

‘I think all that eating paid off,’ Miesha said congratulating him after his win.

Carson was not happy Todd won.

‘We have no protection so we are probably in a bit of a pickle.,’ he said in a confessional. ‘A big fat pickle.’

As the winner, Todd picked two houseguest to be the mascots of his new mojito drink. He picked Lamar and Todrick to wear the mascot costume for 24 hours.

‘I’m nobody’s mascot,’ said Lamar in a confessional. ‘I’d rather play the game.’

Todd was excited that he won and said in a confessional ‘who even thought that the oldest guy could come in here and snap one off. I will definitely try to take out one big threat.’

‘I will bet the farm, the horses and all the pigs that Carson and I will be on the chopping block, together,’ said Cynthia in a confessional.

Todrick went back to his room to strategize with Miesha. He told her she should encourage Todd to not put him up especially because he gave him his Veto power at the last eviction.

‘When I won the veto, I made the strategic move to save Todd instead of Miesha just in case I ever needed a favor,’ said Todrick. ‘ Well, Todd, time to cash in honey.’

Miesha said in a confessional that Todd could take care of her dirty work for now that he had won HOH.

Todd told Miesha he was thinking of putting up Carson and then putting up someone else as a decoy.

‘The bottom line is I’m doing what’s best for Todd,’ he said in a confessional.

Lamar and Todrick went to the diary room and then changed into green mascot ‘Ho-jito’ outfits and they both had to be attached for 24 hours.

Lamar was not happy. He said ‘I’m not into wearing a mini-dress.’

Todd said in a confessional that he had no idea what the punishment was and that if he knew that they had wear these outfits that he would have picked someone else. He said ‘ Lamar is going to be mad at him forever.’

Because they were attached, the two had to do everything together including going to the bathroom, eating and sleeping together. At one point, it sounded like Lamar farted and Todrick who was walking behind him said ‘oh my god.’ Lamar apologized and said it was the pistachios and told him to just walk through it but ‘don’t open your mouth. Keep your mouth closed.’

Todd brought everyone to see his HOH room. He cried when he read the letter from his family. He said in a confessional that his family was the most important thing in the world to him.

Todd told Todrick and Lamar that he wanted to put up a pawn with Carson. Todrick tried to encourage Todd to put up Cynthia at the same time. Todd then asked Lamar if he minded being a pawn and he said no.

‘Why would Todd Bridges be saving Cynthia from the block who has been fighting with for the past few weeks? ‘ wondered Todrick in a confessional. ‘Could it be strategy trying to secure votes should he happen to end up in one of the final two chairs. I’m not sure what’s going on.’

Todd told Miesha that he was thinking of putting up Carson with Lamar. Todd then told Carson that he had to put him up . He told him that he was going to put him up with Lamar and Carson said he was happy about that. Todd told Carson that he won the veto that he would put Cynthia in his place.

‘This is not a news flash and I have been expecting it,’ Carson said in a confessional.

Todd said in a confessional that his plan was to make it to the end and not have the jury be bitter at him. He also told Cynthia that she was safe.

Cynthia told Carson that if she won the veto that she would take him off the block and would also be safe. Carson told her that at least they have a chance.

‘Now there is a little glimmer of hope,’ said Carson in a confessional.

Carson said ‘there is still some hope.’

Cynthia said in her confessional that she planned to give everything to win the veto competition.

Lamar said in a confessional that it was all good that Todd nominated him because that was the game.

‘I’ve played a lot of games, the one thing I know is not to lose,’ said Lamar in a confessional. ‘The others have not seen me with a fire lit in my belly. So I don’t have no choice but to come after that veto.’
