Celebrity chef Maggie Beer launches a spectacular meal kit box for Christmas

Australian celebrity chef Maggie Beer has partnered with Marley Spoon to release a meal kit specifically for Christmas along with a ‘high quality, low fuss’ cheese board.

The limited-edition offering features an entire new menu filled with creative takes on classic festive meals, with an array of entrees, mains and desserts to choose from. 

Each meal has been designed to be easily shared with friends and family and the special dishes will be available for six weeks in the lead up to Christmas on a rotation to give customers the chance to try everything on the menu. 

Maggie has also hand-selected a range of her delectable cheeses, preserves and crackers for customers to order with their weekly delivery.

Marley Spoon’s Festive Fare menu, including the Maggie Beer cheese plates, will be available from November 23.

Some of the menu options may include Christmas tomato, basil and olive salad with garlic croutons, fruit mince baklava with spiced yoghurt drizzle, loaded potatoes with chorizo crumb and brussel sprouts salad with parmesan cheese and maple aioli. 

Each meal bag comes with set ingredients and a recipe card sheet with simple but detailed instructions.  

‘Christmas has always been very special to me and whilst it might be harder this year to have all your family and friends together, delicious food to share is such an important part of my world and none more so than the festive season,’ Maggie said.

‘2020 has been a tough year for every Australian and while we’re all still doing our part to stay safe and protect one another, I’m so happy for this opportunity to partner with Marley Spoon to help bring people together and share delicious food.’

Customers can choose between two-person and four-person boxes that are the perfect way to share a meal with loved ones during the festive season.

Customers may also wish to purchase the new Marley Spoon cookbook titled ‘Step-by-Step’ which features the top rated 100 recipes Australians have enjoyed over the past five years

Customers can order a box by signing up on the Marley Spoon website, with prices starting at $67.50 for three meals for two people.

Added costs are applied for shipping, for more meals and for the four-person box.
