A-listers Chris Rock and David Harbour were roped into cleaning duties after the New York Knicks game was held up due to glitter Wednesday night.

The third quarter of the Knicks’ 95-89 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers at Madison Square Garden had to be halted while the court was cleaned up.

After a timeout with 5:04 left in the third, the Knicks City Dancers performed a number at center court, leaving what appeared to be glitter on the floor in their wake.

‘Always a lot of glitter at the World’s Most Famous Arena,’ Walt ‘Clyde’ Frazier quipped on the MSG Network broadcast. ‘They might be here awhile, Mike [Breen], the glitter is everywhere.’

‘Well, you don’t see this delay very often,’ Breen, the play-by-play man chipped in.

The crew on the floor swiftly tried to clear the court with towels, to ensure that it was safe for players to resume playing.

Along with the crew, Knicks players Immanuel Quickley and Quentin Grimes used their hands to remove the specks of glitter.

Harbour and Rock, who were sitting in ‘Celebrity Row’ courtside, were clearly eager to get back to watching the action and jumped out of their seats to chip in with the cleaning up in a bizarre scene.

‘The fans on celebrity row are picking them up,’ Breen said in amazement. ‘They have brooms, they have mops, they have celebrities, they have players — not a single broadcaster is helping out.’

The game eventually got back underway with all the glitter picked up but the pause didn’t seem to help the Knicks reset as they trailed the Cavaliers, only managing 13 points in the third quarter.

New York went on to suffer defeat, their third of the season, as Donovan Mitchell recorded 30 points for Cleveland.

Caris LeVert scored 19 and Eric Mobley added 14 for Cleveland, which was again missing starters Darius Garland (strained hamstring), center Jarrett Allen (ankle bone bruise) and backup guard Ty Jerome (sprained ankle) with injuries.

Jalen Brunson led the Knicks with 24 points. Quickley scored 18, Donte DiVincenzo had 16 and Mitchell Robinson finished with 16 rebounds.

New York was without RJ Barrett, who sat with a sore left knee. Julius Randle´s offense was also missing, as he finished with six points on 3-for-15 shooting from the field and 0-for-6 sniping from long distance.
