The actress, 24, made sure all eyes were on her in a one-shoulder black tassel dress as she picked up the gong for her role in Where the Crawdads Sing, which she stars in as social outcast Catherine ‘Kya’ Clark.
Daisy showed off her sense of style in the quirky number which had colourful flower stitching on it and flashed some leg through the hanging tassels.

The beauty was glowing with a natural makeup look as she beamed up on stage while accepting the Leopard Club Award and giving a short speech.
According to the festival’s website: ‘The Leopard Club Award pays tribute to a great personality of the cinema who through her or his work has managed to mark the collective imagination.’

She stars as social outcast Catherine ‘Kya’ Clark, a young woman struggling to raise herself in the marshes of North Carolina after her parents abandon her, with the character having a lonely existence.
Her character’s plight has seemingly struck a cord with the film star, who previously told how shooting to fame following her stint in Normal People was a ‘very lonely experience’ as her stardom happened during lockdown amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Speaking to The Mirror about how she can in a way relate to Kya, Daisy said: ‘The theme of isolation really stuck with me, especially with everything we have been through because of the pandemic.’
Sharing how she was moved by her character’s resilient outlook on life, she went on: ‘Being able to escape into Kya’s world and see how she finds comfort, solace and love through the connections she makes with the natural world around her was incredibly comforting and moving.’
As a fan of the original book by author Delia Owen, Daisy added that she was ‘lucky’ to have had the opportunity to portray the character.
