The couple looked very happy as they were spotted holding hands and staying close to each other during their outing.
The newly engaged duo sported comfortable summer clothing to stay cool in the hot California weather.

The professional dancer added a pair of jean shorts that reached his knees along with olive-colored slip on shoes.
His blonde hair was combed and slicked back to keep strands out of his face. To finalize his casual ensemble, the star threw on a pair of sunglasses and a watch on his wrist.
He held a black bag in his hand after making a quick purchase at Salt Optics.

Hayley also opted for similar comfort as she enjoyed their outing. The star wore a black sports bra to stay cool in the hot sun.

To accessorize her look, the star put on very minimalistic jewelry, from tiny earrings and a necklace with a small embellishment.
The Dancing With The Stars competitor carried a large bag on her shoulder, ready for the shopping day.

Weeks after Hayley said yes, wedding preparations have been in full swing. In a recent interview with People at the 4th Annual Critics Choice Real TV Awards , Derek gave some big updates about the big day.
The star hinted that the wedding will very extravagant, from the guests to the entertainment.
‘So it’s going to be a full-on festival. I’m very excited about it,’ he stated.
On the topic if the two professional dancers will be putting on performances themselves during the wedding reception, Derek said, ‘ I’m like, ‘No, no, no. We’re going to enjoy the night, y’all are going to perform for us.’
Hayley, who was also in attendance at the award ceremony, added, ‘Oh, we’ll be dancing. Don’t you worry. We just won’t be performing.’
