The legendary Dick Van Dyke enjoyed a lunch date with his second wife, Arlene Silver, in Malibu on Wednesday after exercising at the gym.
At 96, the national treasure is 46 years older than the former make-up artist, but they celebrated 10 years of marriage on February 29.
‘I thought there would be an outcry about a gold digger marrying an old man,’ Dick admitted to Closer Weekly in March.

Van Dyke – who’s only an Oscar away from elite EGOT status – was sporting a grey sweatshirt emblazoned with critters submerged in a ‘Spoonful Sugar.’
A Spoonful of Sugar was one of Julie Andrews’ famous songs from Robert Stevenson’s 1964 Disney classic Mary Poppins, in which the Midwesterner portrayed cockney jack-of-all-trades Bert.
Dick is also known for his memorable roles in The Dick Van Dyke Show (1961-66), Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (1968) and, most recently, Mary Poppins Returns (2018).

On Valentine’s Day, Van Dyke proved he could still act, sing, and dance alongside Arlene in their Everybody Loves a Lover music video.
The May-December duo performed a cheery cover of a Richard Adler and Robert Allen song, made popular by Doris Day in 1958, alongside barbershop trio the Vantastix and trumpet player Tony Guerrero.
‘I love to harmonize, so that keeps me going,’ the four-time great-grandfather said of the group he formed in 2020.
‘It’s kind of my retirement amusement. I don’t play golf. I have more fun singing and dancing.’

Dick originally met Silver when she was working at the 13th Screen Actors Guild Awards in 2007 where he presented Julie Andrews with a lifetime achievement award.
‘He said, “Hi, I’m Dick.” The first thing I asked him was, “Weren’t you in Mary Poppins?”‘ the Bronx-born, LA-raised singer recalled.
‘We got along immediately as friends, so it didn’t feel like he was so much older than me.’
Arlene gushed: ‘He is the most perfect human being. I’ve never met anyone so happy, so genuine, so amazing. He’s just like a happy pill.’

Van Dyke has four children – son Christian, 72; son Barry, 70; daughter Stacy, and daughter Carrie, 60 – from his 30-year marriage to the late Margie Willett, which ended in 1984 after a six-year separation.
And the white-haired triple threat lived with singer-dancer Michelle Triola from 1976 until her death in 2009 from lung cancer.
A year ago, Dick received the 43rd Annual Kennedy Center Honors, joking to The Mirror: ‘I just turned 95, so I’m happy to be anywhere. Had I known I’d live this long, I’d have taken better care of myself.’
‘Recognition from your peers is always icing on the cake. How did I get to a Kennedy award? I never trained or did anything. I just enjoyed myself,’ he said.
