Entitled woman is blasted after she cruelly humiliated a man

A woman who took to social media to publicly humiliate a man who asked her out on a date to Applebee’s was in for a surprised when commenters turned on her and insisted she was entitled.   

In her cringe-worthy Facebook post, the unnamed US-based woman explained that the guy who asked her out was attractive, but as soon as she found out he wanted to take her to a chain restaurant, she cruelly turned him down. 

‘This man asked me out on a date. He was actually fine as hell but when I asked him where we going he said and I quote ladies “Applebee’s,”‘ she wrote. ‘I busted out laughing at his silly cheap a**.’

Cringe-worthy: The woman wrote in her post that the guy who asked her out was attractive, but as soon as he said he wanted to take her to the restaurant chain she turned him down 

He can do better: Many commenters criticized her for being stuck up, with one woman insisting the man ‘dodged a bullet’ when she turned him down

The woman then went on to boast about how well-off she is, claiming she is too good for the restaurant.  

‘I told him “I own my own shop, a house, a BMW and stocks. I can buy Applebee’s!” Then I walked away. You should have seen his face,’ she wrote.

‘I’m worth more than Applebee’s, you have to impress me and that ain’t it!’ she added. ‘Ladies keep them standards high as hell, don’t settle for a broke man.’

If she was expecting people to readily agree with her, she was in for a shock. Many commenters ripped her apart, with one woman pointing out that she knows nothing about the guy she turned down. 

‘So because he offered to take you to dinner at Applebee’s he’s broke?’ she asked. ‘You had to tell him of all your worldly accomplishments to sound good? You don’t know that man’s financial status. 

Sticking up for Applebee’s: The original post, which appears to have been deleted, quickly went viral and was later shared on Reddit, where users slammed her over her poor attitude

‘He could own several Applebee’s, he could be a broker, he could be a doctor but you judged him off a restaurant? I’m sure if I saw his face he would be laughing because he just dodged a bullet,’ she added. 

‘You own all of those things but you still don’t have a man. It’s not because your standards are high it’s because you ain’t s**t.’

‘If a man doesn’t bring me on a private jet to dinner on the top of the Eiffel Tower I don’t ever return his texts. I’ve been single all of my life but keeping’ them standard[s] high sista!’ one person sarcastically commented. 

‘How do people find any kind of happiness living with that kind of mindset?’ another critic asked, prompting someone else to respond: ‘They don’t. They are usually the most miserable as they watch all the happy couples.’

One Reddit user pointed out that women like are always asking, ‘Where have all the good men gone?’ 

Some thought the guy was just testing her to see if she is a ‘gold-digger,’ and a few people were quick to note that they don’t think the woman is as rich as she wants people to believe.  

‘I bet she owns a 1990s BMW with 160k miles with no AC and selling MLM products isn’t your own shop, hun,’ one person wrote. ‘Also last time that Applebee’s was sold, it sold for 2.1 billion dollars, I doubt she has that much cash.’

Others couldn’t resist sticking up for the restaurant chain, particularly its spinach-artichoke dip.
