  • The agent has met with clubs all across Europe to discuss deals for striker
  • Borussia Dortmund are reportedly demanding £154m for the Norwegian striker
  • Raiola is also expected to meet with a host of English clubs for further talks

Mino Raiola has criticised apparent ‘fake news’ in reference to Erling Haaland’s future as the Norwegian’s agent continues his European tour to discuss a transfer for the striker.

The agent was spotted with the Borussia Dortmund striker’s father, Alfie, in Spain this week negotiating deals with Barcelona and Real Madrid, with reports stating the pair will also meet with Premier League teams.

With speculation intensifying, Raiola has added fuel to the fire by suggesting information being reported over Haaland’s future is false.

He tweeted: ‘Fake news travels fast’ with an emoji of a rocket and several pictures of transfer reports on Haaland from different European outlets with the word ‘Fake’ appearing several times over the top.

Haaland is one of the hottest properties in Europe, with Raiola not holding back in his attempts to talk up a summer move for his client.

Borussia Dortmund are reportedly demanding £154million for their prized asset and called Raiola to remind him Haaland is not for sale this summer after he was pictured talking to other clubs.

Reports suggest Raiola is set to meet representatives from Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United on his English tour.

However, Sportsmail understands they could fall foul of the 10-day quarantine rule in the UK, potentially scuppering hopes of talks.

But this may not matter, as according to Spanish publication AS, Haaland’s preferred destination is Madrid and he is relishing the opportunity to play in the club’s iconic white strip.

However, two obstacles reportedly stand in Haaland’s way – Borussia Dortmund’s refusal to sell and the astonishing financial demands.
