She’s moving on from her ex-boyfriend Arthur Collins’ acid attack conviction.

And Ferne McCann has been spending her first Christmas with baby daughter Sunday, after revealing she wants to turn the page on ‘the most difficult chapter of her life’ and focus on her two-month-old child.

The former TOWIE star shared a heartwarming picture of herself cuddling her little one on Monday, both clad in matching pyjamas.

Her ex-boyfriend Arthur Collins was jailed earlier this week, after being found guilty of a horrific acid attack carried out in April.

But Ferne McCann has now revealed she is ready to move on and concentrate on being a mother to daughter Sunday, after ‘the most difficult chapter of her life’.

Speaking to Fabulous, the 27-year-old admitted the situation surrounding her pregnancy had been ‘completely out of her control’ – and that she is already concerned about how she will tell her little girl of the attack in the future.

The former TOWIE star admitted 2017 had been one of the worst years of her life due to her ex-boyfriend’s shocking crime in April – but that the arrival of her daughter had kept her strong.

Looking back at the attack, she said: ‘It’s been the most difficult chapter of my life to date and the hardest thing I hope I’ll ever have to face.

‘It was all completely out of my control. The only thing I can control now is how I raise my daughter.’

Arthur was jailed for twenty years on Tuesday, with an extended license of five years, after being found guilty of throwing acid across a dance floor in April.

Ferne admitted she is now ready to move on from the horrific incident and instead focus on life with her newborn – who she plans to inform of her father’s attack in a few years’ time.

She added: ‘What is important now is to enjoy her, learn how to be a mum and concentrate on Sunday, rather than dwelling on how I’m going to broach this in the future.’

Arthur, 25, had hurled the substance across the dancefloor at Mangle nightclub near Dalston and injured 22 – three of whom who testified in court earlier this week.

Arthur, who branded the crime ‘a silly little mistake’, was seen winking at his weeping family as he was given his sentence by Judge Noel Lucas QC, who branded him a ‘calculating liar’.

He also said Collins had not shown the ‘slightest remorse’ after the ‘deliberate and calculated attack’ earlier this year.

Three weeks after the attack, Ferne confirmed she was pregnant with his child, and broke down on ITV’s This Morning as she revealed her plans to raise the baby alone.

Ferne welcomed daughter Sunday in November, and took her to visit Arthur in Category A Belmarsh prison once – where she reportedly told him: ‘This is the last time you will see either of us.’

The new interview comes amid reports Ferne is receiving huge amounts of support from her family and friends, as she prepares for her first Christmas with Sunday following her ex’s sentencing.

A source told The Sun: ‘People are worried about her because she’s not been sleeping and she’s lost a lot of weight.

‘Everyone is supporting her as best they can and they’re all rallying around her.’

However, Ferne appears to be taking to motherhood like a duck to water, and has shared a number of sweet Instagram snaps with her little girl throughout December.

In one shot, which saw the brunette cradle her baby outside of her house, she wrote to fans: ‘I wonder what I look like in your eyes because in mine you look perfect. I [love] you Sunday Skye.’
