Three have varying leg and arm injuries and will be taken to the Royal Brisbane and Woman’s Hospital.

Police are investigating the incident but could not confirm reports the car was doing a U-turn when it struck the cyclists.

The vehicle appeared to be trying to turn in at low speed as a group of cyclists were coming down a hill on Friday morning, Sunrise reports.

The collision occurred because the driver didn’t see the cyclists, three of whom were hit by the vehicle while two others went over it, according to the program.
