Antal ran her syndicate with her on-off lover Oliver Merza, reported the Daily Telegraph.

The 28-year-old was in charge of the ring despite being locked up in Silverwater prison.

He used a contraband mobile phone to run the operation involving 12 gang members including four minors.

The gang had two bases in Cabramatta and Fairfield where they would package and store cannabis.

During raids in 2017, investigators seized cannabis, cash, mobile phones, SIM cards, clothing and drug paraphernalia in raids of seven homes in Fairfield, Cabramatta West, Smithfield and Elizabeth Hills.

Violence and associated criminal activity, including public shootings, had led police to investigate the Fairfield area and uncovered a cannabis supply syndicate.

Antal was charged with supply prohibited drug, direct criminal group, recruit child to carry out/ assist criminal activity, knowingly deal with proceeds of crime and act with intent to pervert the course of justice.

She will be sentenced next month.
