Hundreds of Kmart shoppers are left in stitches after noticing a VERY awkward fail in store

  • An Aussie mum has noticed something awkward on a piece of Kmart jewellery
  • Melissa was browsing the isles when she noticed something odd
  • The beaded bracelet that was meant to say ‘besties’ instead read ‘testies’
  • It’s believe a worker accidentally made an error when crafting the kids’ jewellery
  • Hundreds online were left in stitches after seeing a photo of the mistake

An Aussie mum has spotted an awkward mistake on a children’s bracelet at her local Kmart store.

Mum-of-one Melissa was browsing through the jewellery section during a Thursday night shop and couldn’t believe what she stumbled across.

The bracelet was made with colourful beads and lettering that spelt the word ‘besties’, but on another bracelet a worker had accidentally spelt ‘testies’.

After having a giggle to herself, Melissa took a photo and posted the image to a popular Facebook group, which left hundreds of others in stitches.

‘Not a hack, but I had a bit of a chuckle on my Thursday night shop. I had to do a double take, thought my eyes were playing up on me,’ Melissa wrote online.

The photo has since gained the attention of more than 4500 people who ‘liked’ the post while 600 left a comment.

Many said they hope Melissa purchased the bracelet purely for the humorous aspect.

‘I hope you purchased them. That’s hilarious!’ one person wrote.

Another added: ‘Looks like it was someone’s last day on the job the day they were made.’

A third laughed and said: ‘OMG how inappropriate…also which Kmart were they in? Asking for a friend.’

Earlier this year in May a Woolworths shopper made an odd discovery after buying a packet of $3  jam drops.

Posting a video on TikTok, the customer noticed something different about one of the biscuits.

Upon a closer inspection there seemed to be a sad face baked onto the tasty treat rather than a single dollop of jam.

Jam drops are a popular Woolworths product sold in the bakery section of the supermarket.

Amused by the situation, the customer said: ‘Clearly someone hates their job!’

It’s believed the baker likely added the two eyes and sad-looking mouth onto the biscuit when making the treats.
