I’m a Celebrity: Shocking unaired scene that prompted Kerri-Anne’s exit

Ian ‘Dicko’ Dickson has revealed there was a particularly brutal moment on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! that never made it to air.

The former Australian Idol judge, 60, who was evicted from the jungle on Wednesday’s episode, revealed on The Kyle and Jackie O Show the following morning there was more to Domenica Calarco and Kerri-Anne Kennerley’s fiery spat than was shown on TV.

Kerri-Anne, 69, sensationally quit the Channel 10 show two weeks ago after MAFS star Domenica branded her ‘the most self-centred b***h I’ve ever met’. She lasted only four days in the South African jungle.

But Dicko has now confirmed Dom called Kerri-Anne something much worse than that – but the producers were forced to edit it out.

‘It got a little bit more heated after that,’ Dicko said of the argument, prompting radio host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson to ask why it wasn’t aired.

‘Well, because it might have involved the C-bomb,’ Dicko answered, before clarifying it was Dom who called Kerri-Anne a ‘c**t’.

‘All I can say [is] it was one of the most remarkable things I’ve ever seen,’ he added.

Dicko said Kerri-Anne took it on the chin and was ‘all class’ despite feeling ‘a bit upset’ at being called such an offensive slur.

‘You know, Dominica was in the wrong. She really should not have blown up like that,’ he continued.

‘But she’s a feisty westie, and she went from nought to gremlin in five seconds.’

The drama unfolded during the first week, when Kerri-Anne and Domenica took part in an eating challenge alongside Dicko and KIIS FM presenter Woody Whitelaw.

In the challenge, they had to eat a variety of animal testicles in order to win dinner for the rest of the group.

The team was offered thirteen stars if they all ate the testicles of a kudu, which is a type of large antelope.

But Kerri-Anne wasn’t having any of it, even after the celebrities told her it ‘tastes just like meatballs’ and ‘wasn’t that bad’.

Dom saw red after she took a bite and Kerri-Anne refused, and went on to accuse the former Studio 10 panellist of having no respect for anyone but herself.

‘Miss big contract lady, “Can’t tell me what to do.” I don’t want your [make-up], I don’t want your Revlon 1989 lipstick, doll,’ she raged.

‘It’s not fair – it’s not fair to everyone in there who actually tries. Why are you here, bro? Legit, actually, why are you here?’

When she returned to camp, Kerri-Anne said the verbal ‘abuse’ from Dom had been ‘overwhelming’.

‘To be called the most self-centred b***h she’s ever met. And the “contract queen” time and time again. I would have finished [the challenge] if she would have finished. It was never going to happen,’ she said through tears.

Kerri-Anne, who was upset at having to do three trials in a row, then told her campmates she was leaving.

‘I’ve made a choice, it was a hard choice because I’d love to stay, but it’s never going to work. I thought it was very unfair. I got three trials in a row,’ she said.

‘So, not against my better judgement, because it is my better judgement that I go.’

Kerri-Anne then uttered the famous words: ‘So, I’m a celebrity… get me out of here!’
