It’s down to the final two contestants on The Bachelorette, with competition certainly heating up between Stu Laundy and Jarrod Woodgate.

And ahead of Thursday night’s finale Jarrod has lifted the lid on how Stu tried to ‘sabotage’ his chances with Sophie Monk during the series.

‘He said, ”You should slow things down a little bit,” but I was onto him,’ Jarrod revealed to OK! Magazine.

‘I didn’t listen, and I’m glad I didn’t because watching the show back, I see how he had all the right answers. I’m like, ”You’re a cunning little bloke”.’

Heavily invested from the start, Jarrod said the thought of intruder Stu winning was ‘horrible’.

‘[Seeing Stu win] would be like seeing your best mate with the girl that you’d be chasing for a longer amount of time,’ he said.

Jarrod’s comments come as viewers appear to have had a change of heart towards him after previously labelling him a ‘stage five clinger’.
