Kaia Gerber has made a cryptic dig at an ex as she was spotted reading a book called ‘Dear D***head’, weeks after looking loved-up with Austin Butler.
The Bottoms actress, 22, has been dating the Elvis star, 33, since late 2021 – but a recent post from the daughter of Cindy Crawford has raised eyebrows.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Kaia shared a snap of herself basking on a sun lounger displaying her washboard abs a tiny black triangle bikini.
But in the snap, Kaia was reading a novel entitled ‘Dear D***head’ – with the star captioning it: ‘A book for someone I used to know.’
In a second picture, Kaia highlighted a paragraph of the book which read: ‘At this point, your sheer dumbf***ery commands a certain respect.

Friends and co-stars of Kaia turned out to support her on the post, suggesting they knew who she was talking about.

The cryptic post comes less than two weeks after she and Austin were seen strolling hand-in-hand after enjoying dinner with friends in New York City.
Austin and Kaia had been in the Big Apple celebrating his 33rd birthday and were spotted dining with pals FKA Twigs and Julia Fox.
The pair first sparked romance rumours in December 2021 before going public with their relationship in March 2022.
‘Kaia and Austin are going strong,’ an insider told People in May after the duo was spotted in NYC.

Kaia – who is the daughter of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber – has seen her acting career really take off as of late.

The model starred in multiple seasons of the American Horror Story franchise and landed a leading part in the queer cult-hit Bottoms.
More recently, the ingenue starred alongside Kristen Wiig and Carol Burnett on the Apple TV+ hit Palm Royale.
The series is set in Palm Beach, Florida in 1969 and Kaia plays Mitzi, a young manicurist who is determined to pursue her dreams of becoming a model.
