And Katharine McPhee Foster and David Foster appeared before the masses again as they walked the red carpet of the eighth annual Breakthrough Prize awards, held at the NASA Ames Research Center in Mountain View.
The Breakthrough Prize is awarded annually, and recognizes the world’s top scientists.

Katharine, 35, was sheathed in a turquoise-blue mock-neck dress with an extended train on the hem.
Foster, 70, wore a basic black tuxedo that he paired with patent-leather loafers.
Katharine wore ornate diamond drop earrings and carried a silver tube-shaped clutch.

Her long brunette tresses were pulled into a high ponytail for the outing.
McPhee kept her eye makeup minimal with just a touch of smokey eye and a rust-colored lip.
The two were wed in a lavish ceremony in London at the Church of Saint Yeghiche in South Kensington on June 28.

Katharine wore a gown by Zac Posen and David wore a tuxedo by Stefano Ricci.
Around 150 guests were in attendance including close family and friends.
It was the second marriage for Katharine and the fifth marriage for David.
David was previously wed to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Hadid following ex-wives B.J. Cook, Rebecca Dyer and Linda Thompson.
