Katharine McPhee takes a trip down memory lane as she models her American Idol wardrobe 14 years later during quarantine

Katharine McPhee found fame in 2006 when she came in first runner-up on season five of American Idol.

And 14 years later, the Don’t Need Love artist still looks as stunning as she did when she made her television debut.

She took a walk down memory lane Monday as she revisited some of her looks from the singing competition series, putting on a fashion show for her 730k Instagram followers.

She captioned the photo: ‘It’s day 26 of quarantine and we’re breaking out dresses from 14 years ago. Might have to resurrect this moment, on a red carpet, once we are out of this.’

It was accompanied with a photo of her performing Whitney Houston’s I Have Nothing on the season’s Top 6 episode in the same dress when she was 21.

That happened to be the episode where she met now husband David Foster, 70, who appeared as a guest mentor.

McPhee later came in second place to Taylor Hicks during the season finale on May 24, 2006.

Before revisiting the stunning yellow dress, she recreated her audition intro with a funny clip.

She sported a similar look to what she wore in her 2006 audition, paired with an American Idol number tag.

Spliced with footage from the episode, she responded to Simon Cowell asking her age: ‘I’m thirty-si… 21.’

McPhee auditioned for the show in San Francisco, singing Billie Holiday’s God Bless the Child.
